Getting from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) to Symposium hotel:

Airport Shuttle Information:
As a courtesy to hotel guests, Tempe Mission Palms provides daily shuttle transportation to/from Phoenix Airport, 5:30am - 10:00pm.
To the hotel*:
When you arrive at baggage claim and have luggage in-hand, please call the hotel at (480) 894-1400. The operator will direct you to the proper curb-side location for your terminal, and advise you of the estimated pick up time.
To the airport:
The airport shuttle runs on an "as-needed" basis, leaving every 30 minutes, on the hour and half-hour. Reservations are not required.
* Unfortunately they cannot "Pre-schedule" shuttle pick-ups due to the variations in scheduled versus actual arrival times, and transportation requests for all of our guests, both arriving and departing.

From Sky Harbor International Airport
  • Follow airport signs to East Exits
  • Continue to follow signs for AZ-202 E and merge onto E Sky Harbor Blvd
  • Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Priest Dr/Center Pkwy
  • Turn right onto Priest Dr
  • Turn left onto W Rio Salado Pkwy
  • Continue onto S Ash Ave
  • Turn left onto W 5th Street, hotel will be on your left 
From Sky Harbor International Airport Rental Car Center:
  • Head south toward E Sky Harbor Cir S
  • Turn left onto E Sky Harbor S
  • Turn right onto E Buckeye Rd
  • Merge onto I-10 E via the ramp to I-17N
  • Take exit 153 for 48th St toward AZ-143/Broadway Rd
  • Keep left at the fork, follow signs for AZ-143N/Broadway Rd
  • Turn left onto S 48th Street
  • Take exit 2 for University Dr
  • Turn right onto University Dr
  • Turn left onto S Mill Ave

There are many terrific restaurants on Mill Avenue so be sure to check out Mill Avenue which is within walking distance from the hotel and features some of Tempe’s most popular restaurants and night life.

PARKING FOR MCCORD HALL
Parking is available in the Apache Blvd. parking structure which is directly in front of McCord Hall. All day parking is $12. Please take a ticket from a machine as you enter and pay as you leave (or at an automated machine located near the exits).

Luggage storage will be provided but cannot be secured in a room that locks.  It can be stored in a team room/empty classroom, but ASU does not assume liability.

Please note that the 4th floor of McCord Hall requires key card access.  If you need to enter, you can call the reception or visit them on the third floor.  To reach the McCord Hall reception desk please call 480-965-3332.
