Professor Erich Dierdorff from DePaul University will talk about soft skill development and what DePaul is doing to teach and measure leadership, teamwork, management skills, organizational skills, and initiating.

PRESENTERS:
BIO: Dr. Erich Dierdorff is a Professor of Management in the Driehaus College of Business at DePaul University in Chicago. In addition to publishing over 25 articles in leading management journals, he has received several awards for teaching excellence at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. He is the former director of the Business Education Insider and co-edited the book, Disrupt or be disrupted: A blueprint for change in management education. Beyond academic scholarship, he has consulted to a wide variety of organizations such as the U.S. Special Operations Forces, Department of Labor, GE, and Siemens.
 
BIO: Carter Alligood is Director of Academic Sales at Capsim, where he has worked for the past four years. Carter has more than 20 years of experience in educational technology in a variety of roles at McGraw-Hill, ETS, Follett and Capsim. At Capsim he leads a team of sales and account managers dedicated to making professors and students successful while using Capsim products. He has a BS in Psychology from Virginia Commonwealth and an MBA from Vanderbilt.
