Members schools benefit from the information the MBA Roundtable delivers by way of our events, research, and publications, and from the opportunities these avenues provide for members to network and showcase their initiatives among leading business schools.
Hear from business school leaders about the benefit of their affiliation with the MBA Roundtable.
The series is designed as a forum for business school leaders to come together to share and generate ideas on MBA curricula. Past symposia have focused on leadership development initiatives, managing curricular change, and globalizing curricula. Symposia are hosted in partnership with a member business school and programmatic content is developed by a member advisory team. Both virtual and in-person attendance options are typically available.
Co-sponsored with GMAC, the annual Leadership Conference provides member schools with the unique opportunity to build their expertise of the industry, strengthen their network, and knowledge-share on both tactical and strategic challenges with fellow program deans and directors. This event consistently receives outstanding attendee reviews for the networking opportunities, practical takeaways, and relevant content. MBA Roundtable members receive a discount on attendance fees and are oftentimes asked to contribute to conference sessions.
The MBA Roundtable also presents curricular-related sessions at various industry-sponsored conferences and seminars in collaboration with our members and strategic partners.
Members may participate in virtual educational seminars related to MBA curriculum. Webinars provide an excellent avenue through which members may showcase their programmatic innovation or learn more about best practices.
Curricular Innovation Study
The MBA Roundtable Curricular Innovation Study (CIS) is designed to provide faculty and administrators practical and actionable survey data that will enable them to promote curricular change and innovation in their MBA programs. Designed and delivered in partnership with Percept Research, this triennial study identifies current trends in curricular development and the processes employed to inform and manage programmatic change.
The study incorporates a program survey, fielded among business schools across the globe. Aggregate research reports are made available to participating schools, and general findings are reported through management education media.
Focused and practical, these surveys are designed to provide members valuable benchmarking data on hot topics related to MBA curriculum. Past surveys have examined leadership competency development and assessment, the use of virtual teaming, and experiential learning initiatives. Comprehensive reports are available to all member schools.
Benchmarking Assessments
The MBA Roundtable has negotiated significant discounts for members that participate in the MBA Lifecycle Survey Suite offered by Percept Research. The suite is comprised of benchmarking assessments of students and alumni specifically tailored to graduate management education. Insights from these surveys are designed to drive continuous improvement and support accreditation efforts of full-time, part-time, and executive MBA programs. The MBA Roundtable encourages ongoing quality endeavors in support of curricular innovation.
MBA Roundtable member publications highlight contemporary topics and research relevant to curricular innovation in MBA education. Members may submit articles for publication.
Member schools have the opportunity to host symposia, co-sponsor research initiatives, and contribute to publications and conference sessions. These sponsorships provide a unique and cost-effective way for schools to showcase their initiatives, partner to achieve common goals, and build awareness among peer institutions.
The MBA Roundtable facilitates resource sharing and networking through the website’s member portal. Members may access event proceedings and recordings, view publications, and provide thought leadership and practical ideas via discussion forums.
