Strategy Execution Education in Graduate Management Education
The Business Architecture Guild and the MBA Roundtable conducted an online survey of graduate business schools to
accomplish the following:
- Determine the propensity for strategic execution courses within graduate business programs
- Gather documentation for strategic execution course curriculum taught in graduate business programs
- Assess the business school professional community’s knowledge and understanding of business architecture
In July 2021, email invitations were sent to contacts in the MBA Roundtable distribution list. Two subsequent requests were made to participate in the research. When data collection concluded on July 26, 78 individuals representing 72 universities responded to the survey—a 4.6 percent and 17.6 percent response rate, respectively.
