Credential Forum

Forum on the growing role of credentials,
badges and certificates in graduate management education

April 7, 8, 15, 2021

There is growing discussion and delivery of credentials, badges and certificates in graduate management education, often leading to more questions than answers:

What does it mean for the industry?  How are they developed and delivered?  What are the impacts on your degree curriculum?  Are there standards?  What are the potential benefits?  Challenges?

Join the MBA Roundtable on April 7, 8 and 15, 2021 as we convene a virtual Forum on the Growing Role of Credentials, Badges and Certificates in Graduate Management Education

The MBA Roundtable has been looking at the opportunities and challenges of alternative credentialing in GME over the last few years.  Our goal is to create an opportunity for Deans, Academic Directors, Faculty, Administrators and Program leaders to convene and discuss this topic, set a baseline of understanding of what they are and how they can work, and discover best practices on designing and delivering alternative credentials .  We have broken the event into three virtual gatherings focusing on the following:

Wednesday, April 7
  • Why are alternative credentials growing and why graduate management education should be part of that growth
  • Level setting - Understanding what the different types of alternative credentials are and how they work
  • An external perspective – how does corporate America view alternative credentials and how is it changing
Thursday, April 8
  • How do you create, administer and delivery alternative credentials
  • The view from central – how do you work with and across the university when delivering alternative credentials
  • Market research – learn the results of the MBA Roundtable’s latest research on alternative credentials.
Thursday, April 15
  • A view from the front line – learn from several live case examples of business schools delivering alternative credentials in various formats and in different stages of development

We are designing this virtual forum to be highly interactive and discussion based to help any institution who is currently delivering or considering delivering alternative credentials as part of their degree programs at their business school.   There will be a mix of live and recorded sessions and we are leaving plenty of time for sharing, breakouts along with broad discussions on the industry impact of credentials, badges and certificates in graduate management education.

To encourage multiple attendees from your institution we are bringing back our special pricing as follows:
