Kate Klepper, Associate Dean, Graduate Business Programs, Northeastern University
Kate has served as the Associate Dean since 2005, overseeing the graduate portfolio at the D'Amore-McKim School. The School offers a variety of Master level programs including a Full-time MBA, Part-time MBA, Online MBA as well as a variety of specialty MBA and Master Degree and Graduate Certificate programs. Kate is a member of the D'Amore-McKim leadership team and also sits on the Graduate Programs and Assessment Committee within the School and the Graduate Dean's Council for the University. She has been the primary representative to the Graduate Management Admissions Council (GMAC) throughout her career in higher education. She is currently serving as the Vice Chair of GMAC Board of Directors. Kate is also a member of the Board of the MBA Roundtable, and The Washington Campus. Prior to her current role at Northeastern, Kate was the Dean of Graduate Admission at Babson College. She earned her BS in Consumer Economics from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst and her MBA from Northeastern.
Michael Smith, General Manager & Executive Innovation Officer, WorldStrides ISA
Michael Smith oversees all aspects of WorldStrides ISA's university and post-graduate group programs, facilitating more than 650 custom programs each year. He has led the division since 2010, after rising through the organization's middle and high school divisions, and has overseen more than 4,000 faculty-led custom programs with more than 100,000 traveling students, faculty and administrators in that time. Under his leadership, the organization has expanded its capabilities into nearly 60 new nations and launched new program formats and experiences in partnership with more than 450 university partners. Prior to joining WorldStrides, Michael worked at Arthur Andersen, Deloitte & Touche, and Wachovia Bank. This broad-based experience in experiential learning and business, paired with his travels in more than 45 countries, inform his commitment to ensuring students experience truly world-class international immersion. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Marketing from The Ohio State University and completed the General Management Program at Harvard Business School.
