Webinar - State of the Student – Now and in a Post Covid World

Start Date: 4/28/2021 1:00 PM EDT
End Date: 4/28/2021 2:00 PM EDT

The MBA Roundtable is pleased to share Wiley’s research results on their State of the Student Survey.  Late in 2020 Wiley surveyed over 3,000 undergraduate and graduate students to better understand how students were feeling, coping, and reacting to the changing education environment.  The survey results are extremely enlightening and tremendously helpful for faculty and administrators in planning their courses and curriculum in the future.  For example, of the students surveyed:
Student Challenges

  • 26% find it difficult to learn material online
  • 18% find the lack of interaction to be a challenge online
  • 10% find it hard to focus/concentrate online
Preferred Format
  • 41% prefer a Hybrid Learning format
  • 37% prefer an in-person format
  • 18% prefer an online format
This research also provides a great opportunity to compare and contrast with the MBA Roundtable’s recent survey Current And Future Impact Of COVID-19 On The Business School Curriculum.
