Moving from episodic to continuous curriculum review and innovation
- A New Perspective on GME Curriculum Management
November 3, 2022
8:00 am to 1:00 pm Pacific Time
Santa Clara University
The MBA Roundtable is pleased to announce our upcoming workshop taking place in advance of our 2022 Annual Curricular Innovation Symposium at Santa Clara University on Thursday, November 3rd from 8 am to 1 pm PAC.
This year’s workshop is titled Moving from episodic to continuous curriculum review and innovation - A new perspective on GME curriculum management and will focus on the role of overall curriculum management along with the importance of continuous curricular review and how to move away from the practice of the “every 5 year curriculum review”.
In the MBA Roundtable’s 2021 Curriculum Benchmarking study 47% of GME programs survey had not undertaken a major curriculum change in the last 5 years but 61% of the programs expect to undergo major curricular changes in the next 5 years. Large episodic curricular reviews are time and resource intensive projects that may already be outdated by the time the school institutes any new curricular changes.
Join us for our upcoming workshop to discover a new strategy for thinking about your curricular review and innovations. We will look at the benefits and challenges of a continuous curricular review process, learn from schools who are moving in this direction, see some new technologies to support this process and share in what your school is doing.
The fee for the 2022 Workshop will be $300 for MBA Roundtable Members and $400 for NonMembers. Registration is now open.
